My initial visit to the Retford Enterprise Centre was to explore options available for staff training and meeting rooms as this is an essential requirement for our business. My first impression of the centre was of a modern, high specification self-contained building. I was met and introduced to the building by polite and, knowledgeable staff who after a brief tour of the whole building soon gave me enough information to enable me to decide that a permanent move of office to this state of the art premises would be of great benefit to our new high profile community care service.
The start-up 6 month incentive arrangement for new businesses has meant for us that we have been able to invest more than planned in the quality of our service. All the offices are of an excellent size with the benefit of being able to move to larger offices if available when the time arises without having to consider moving sites.
The meeting rooms are adequately equipped to meet a variety of needs and the variation of sizes are reflected within the cost with an additional benefit of discount available for tenants. The management and reception support has been of great benefit to our service as they have been most efficient, professional and supportive. The move to the Retford Enterprise Centre has been a totally positive move and experience for our business as the high quality service that we provide is reflected in the centres, efficient and professional profile.

I have been a virtual tenant at the Retford Enterprise Centre for over twelve months. During this time I have found the service exceptional. Steve and his staff often go above and beyond what is expected. They have provided support and often promote my business and services to others. One of the reasons I moved to the Retford Enterprise Centre was to make use of the training and meeting facilities. I have held several seminars and attended numerous meetings here. The rooms are spacious, very well equipped and have made my client acquisition through these events very easy and professional looking. Again the service received from Steve & Sue in the organisation and delivery of the events has been outstanding. Overall Steve and everyone at the Retford Enterprise Centre is incredibly supportive of businesses not only located at the centre but those that also attend events etc. It is very worthwhile to know that your telephone calls are being dealt with professionally and effectively, that there is always somewhere to collect your mail from, that the premises are efficiently run so that meetings and events are held hassle free and that there is always support on hand for what sometimes can be a lonely place in business. I would recommend all the services on offer at the Retford Enterprise Centre, in particular the service of Steve and Sue, without exception

Self-employed physiotherapist Linda Guy has been using Retford Enterprise Centre’s virtual tenancy package for almost 6 months now and says she has seen some very positive benefits that have made a real difference to her business.
“Before I became a virtual tenant I had to divert my phone to a mobile phone when I was treating a patient. This proved to be very expensive as the caller’s phone call was charged to my mobile account. Some people did not like leaving a message or had found another physiotherapist by the time I had chance to ring them back, therefore losing me business. Any spare time I had was spent retrieving messages, trying to return calls and invariably playing telephone tag to contact the customer” says Linda.

Thank you very much for the excellent service we recently received when using your venue for one of our training seminars on Carers Awareness. We used the Conference Room on the second floor which was a very suitable location for our session.
The facilities you provided, in particular the electronic visual equipment, meant that the presentation used was professionally delivered. The room was comfortable and pleasant and lunch and refreshments were very well received by those present - a number of people commented on the quality of both the venue, the seminar itself and the location.
We will certainly use your facilities again in the future and will recommend them to anyone seeking a similar venue.

Leonard Cheshire Disability has used Retford Enterprise Centre several times now for group management meetings and regional training workshops. The environment is excellent and can be adapted to any requirement or request that we have made and the facilities and equipment are second to none.
More recently we have used the venue for our regional academy meetings. These are meetings of disabled people who use LCD services across the East Midlands, the majority of whom are wheelchair users. We have found the REC to be a perfect venue for these meetings as it is fully compliant with the requirements of the DDA.
The REC staff are extremely flexible and responsive to our needs and requirements including catering. The rates are very competitive and represent excellent value for such a modern and state of the art facility.
